Movie Review on- If I stay

If I stay based off the book if I stay by Gayle Forman

Review: WOW, I saw the movie this morning and I’m still crying over it. The movie was a very good representation of the book, even if  some things were added to the movie or changed. It has been a long time ( since Divergent) that a movie has been this close to what the book actually says. Trust when you see this movie, because don’t fool yourself, you will see this movie. SOON.  All of the actors chosen for the characters played almost too good, because five minutes into the movie you will forget that they are actors doing their job and not the actual people this is happening too. And can I just say the part in the movie when Mia’s grandfather is in the room with her is one of the hardest to read let alone watch! So was the part when Adam sang the song he wrote for her too. I am just a big ball of feels right now. The music in the movie is amazing, it goes in many different directions, it comes back to a nice slow melody that makes you cry even harder. So I guess this means I must have the soundtrack now. Although it has only been a matter of hours since I have seen this movie, and I am still so utterly moved by it, just as the book moved me, I can say that this is one of the most moving movies you might ever see.

4 1/2 stars.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Movie Review: WOW, the movie stays true to the plot after the Avengers and continues on with Steve Rogers live and how he’s trying to catch up with the times and struggling with what true freedom is. The black widow becomes a friend that has that older sister vibe and gains more depth to her character and to her story/ role in the series. Sam Wilson is introduced and become one of THE coolest wing men ever (pun intended). Old characters who were once thought dead ( three in counting) come back into the plot to muck everything up and others to add some spice. The best action scenes of all this years movies were added to Winter Soldier to make it one of the most intense movie of ever ( Fury has one of the coolest fights scenes) . Also the hot bods from the Captain and The winter soldier help girls stay focused and appreciate how the actors got in shape for the movie. Stan Lee was allowed to have his cameo again, and Marvel gives the best two after clips that leave you hanging.
P.S- can’t wait to see more of the mutants in the next Avengers!

5 out of 5 stars.

Movie Review: The movie was GREAT! Theo James did an amazing job as Four and brought more depth to the relationship between him and Tris. The chemistry between Theo James and Shailene Woodley was one of the best parts of this movie, there is so much more between these two then in the hunger games or the twilight series. Though the movie was not completely true to the book and left out how some things were done, they did a good substitute for those scenes. One big problem I had with the movie was that some major key planning characters were left out, BUT you do see someone who could be this missing character even though he never says his name.hey do not put all of Tris’s fears in the movie and therefore don’t do the cute moment with Tris and Four, when they are like 6 and 4 together. Also Veronica Roth makes a nice cameo during the zip line scene, which was really cool by the way. All the actors did an amazing job portraying their characters and bringing this book to life, and now they have the green light to make the next two films.
P.S- I saw another review of this movie by some guy that works for a newspaper and I just have to talk about. I hope most of you have read the series or are going to, but please don’t get confused about Tris’s fear with Four in the movie, she is afraid of INTIMACY with him. The reviewer I was talking about thought she was afraid of rape but over came it by being a strong women and saying no and kicking butt, that is not what it means! But his idea of this moment in the movie is still a good point say no to rape.

4 and half stars out of 5.

Vampire Academy-Movie Review

Vampire Academyvampire-academy-movie-poster

Movie Review: I have read the first book in the vampire academy series and was not looking forward to this movie at all. what I could see from All the previews for the movie was that it was going to suck. But I’m happy to say that it did not, in fact it was great! It followed that book to a T, and the actor’s were great for their parts too. they even brought more sass and depth to the characters then you would expect, but it is sad to hear that there will be no second movie for the series.

5 out of 5 stars.
