Review of Dirty (Dive Bar #1) by Kylie Scott

Dirty (Dive Bar #1)  by Kylie Scott

Review: I was hooked on page one for this book, I could not stop myself from reading this book in one sitting. This book also had me laughing and giggling through some of my classes for a couple of days after too.

Although the characters and the plot didn’t really impact me as amazing. I got to see the potential for the next books coming up in this series.

Though one of  parts of this book was finding out that it was connected to the Stage Dive series, and a couple of favorite characters of mine ( Cough* Mal* Cough) showed up to cause a little trouble.

Another thing about this book along with its characters that I did really like, was how smooth the book was to read and relate too.

Anyway, I can’t wait to read more of this series!

Review of Nuts (Hudson Valley #1) by Alice Clayton

Nuts (Hudson Valley #1)  by Alice Clayton

Review: I didn’t know what to expect from this book or how the author would set the tone with this new series. I have read the Wallbanger series and loved it like crazy, and I have read the first book in the Red Head series and didn’t really like it all that much. So as you can  see I had mixed feelings over this book.

I did take me a while to get into this book, only because I had many other things to do. But when I finally had a minute and read through chapter two, I was lost.

I cant even begin to tell you the number of times I burst out laughing and had to call my grandma ( because she got me the book and read it, I know weird right?). But I had to talk to her about where I was at and laugh with her about what was going on.

I could completely understand and love Roxie  in this book, she was a hoot. She also had a great character through the book. Plus she had hunky Leo falling all over her ( many times, with nap peas. haha).

I am crazy excited for the next book ” Cream of the Crop”!!!!! I just loved the set up for it in this book and am biting my nails waiting for it.

Review of Dark Wild Night (Wild Seasons #3) by Christina Lauren

Dark Wild Night (Wild Seasons #3)  by Christina Lauren

Review: I put off reading this book in the Wild Seasons mostly because I did not find the first two all that world changing. But as I ran out of the house yesterday I could not stop myself from grabbing this book on my way. I am so happy I did because I think this has been the best book yet in this series.

Lola is such an interesting and amazing soul, I was so happy to read all about how she works and how she thinks things over. I just loved the little parts where she would process what was happening in real life with a comic panel. And how she ( the authors) described it!!! Amazing!

Oliver was such an adorable and sexy character, I just kept screaming “be together already! For the love of all that is holy, please screw each others brains out!”

Just how the two characters interacted with e another and with the plot itself was just mind blowing. the book was so smooth the read, I felt like I had read it too fast or something.

But in the end I could not help but sigh over these two characters and the amazingness that is this book.

Summary: What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
But what didn’t happen in Vegas seems to follow them everywhere.

Lola and Oliver like to congratulate themselves on having the good sense to not consummate their drunken Las Vegas wedding. If they’d doubled-down on that mistake, their Just Friends situation might not be half as great as it is now.

… Or so goes the official line.

In reality, Lola’s wanted Oliver since day one—and over time has only fallen harder for his sexy Aussie accent and easygoing ability to take her as she comes. More at home in her studio than in baring herself to people, Lola’s instinctive comfort around Oliver nearly seems too good to be true. So why ruin a good thing?

Even as geek girls fawn over him, Oliver can’t get his mind off what he didn’t do with Lola when he had the chance. He knows what he wants with her now … and it’s far outside the friend zone. When Lola’s graphic novel starts getting national acclaim—and is then fast-tracked for a major motion picture—Oliver steps up to be there for her whenever she needs him. After all, she’s not the kind of girl who likes all that attention, but maybe she’s the kind who’ll eventually like him.

Sometimes seeing what’s right in front of us takes a great leap of faith. And sometimes a dark wild night in Vegas isn’t just the end of a day, but the beginning of a bright new life…

Beautiful Secret (Beautiful Bastard #4)  by Christina Lauren22609595

Review: The first moment that you start reading this book from Ruby’s perspective, which is the first page of said book. You will instantly love her and feel that Fangirl connection with her.

Not for one moment could I breath while I was reading this whole book. The reason why, was because I was gasping and laughing at the outrageous things going on in Ruby’s life. Oh my gosh this girl , she’s got the worst luck then any character I have read before in a book.

But that in no way stops the amazing plot line or character development. It all the more improves everything in this blasted book. In a really good way.

Review of Play (Stage Dive #2) by Kylie Scott

Play (Stage Dive #2)  by Kylie Scott

Review: This was the cutest, funniest book I have read all year long. I could not stop laughing, that I had tears in my eyes. Even thinking of this book right at this moment has  me reaching for it was the biggest smile of my face.

This book has THE best quotes or one liners ever. Just for you guys I’ll share my favorite part with the best quotes ever in it.

” whatever you’re imagining, it’s bigger.”

“I’m not imagining anything.”

“I’m serious. It’s basically a monster. I cannot control it.”

“You’re pretty much going to need a whip and chair to tame it, Anne.”

I am dying folks, DYING!!!! And this part is only the tip of the ice burg, because there is so much more throughout the whole of the book.

I do have to say that Mal and Anne are at the top of my favorite characters list and ship this year because this book was so cute and sizzling. Mal is just like a puppy and Anne is like the kid with the puppy and has no idea what to do with it. Other than cuddle it and give it those crazy eyes. So if you have yet to read this book go get it now !!! It will blow you away with the funny and cute. Now if you will excuse me I must go re-read it again…

Happy Marriage?! by Maki Enjoji

Review: This one my favorite new series that I read last year! It was funny and adorable!

Lots of feels for the plot and characters too. Even though the plot of the story was a bit simple/typical shojo manga, the author was able to knock this series out in a whole new way!  I just could not get enough of this series, I was so sad that it ended so soon! But at least I was able to find a new author/artist that I can read more from online!!

Review of The Unidentified Redhead (Redhead #1) by Alice Clayton

The Unidentified Redhead (Redhead #1)  by Alice Clayton

Review: I only picked up this book because I have read Alice Claytons other series WallBanger and love so much! But I was very disappointed that Unidentified Redhead lacked humor and the sexiness that I had come to know as Claytons writing. I don’t think I will finish the rest of the series or buy any of them, because of how hard it was to get through this book. Although I do look forward to any new books coming from Alice Clayton, such as Nut’s.

Review of The Master (The Game Maker #2) by Kresley Cole

The Master (The Game Maker #2)  by Kresley Cole

Review: Wow, I really enjoyed The Master a lot more then I thought I would, and I liked it way better then the first book in the Game Maker series.

I think the main reason I liked and enjoyed this book was because it did not get to far into BDSM, than the first book did. And what it did have of BDSM in it, it started out slow and took you step by step ( and as a reader who does not / and is not super comfortable with this). I was able to enjoy and be comfortable while reading this book, without finding it too over whelming.

Catarina was a great character, she had depth, wit, mysterious backstory, and badass independence. Maksimilian was a lot of fun to read when he wasn’t being  a jerk or an ass ( which is a lot of the time) but he is able to make it endearing/ sexy. These two put together in a full plot with lots of interesting points here and there was awesome. It was also good to see the characters from the first book too!
