Review: I waited forever to get my hands on this book, I tried everything. But I made myself wait because I thought I would get it in one of my subscriptions boxes, but sadly no. So after a month of holding myself back I went and bought it, and never went anywhere without it. I even read it during some of my college classes because it was so good. I mean really who can even think of putting down a Sarah J. Maas book? No one I tell you! No One!

I wish I could have had a couple of hours to just read this book in peace without having to deal with life, but sadly no. I had to take many breaks while reading this book, which broke up my reading rhythm. But that’s ok, the plot and characters of this new world by Sarah J. Maas sucks you right back in where you left off as if you never left!

The plot and characters of this book were out of the world! I could barely believe how good this book actually was. I mean I heard rave upon rave about this book and was feeling the pressure that the book might not live up to my expectations. But boy, was I wrong. This book was everything and more! I was so hard to finish the book because I don’t want to have to wait another year for the next book in this series.

Sarah J. Maas keeps doing such a great job at creating the best worlds in books, all the while keeping you guessing about what will happen next. She also seems to have the power to create the hottest male characters in books. I mean wow, I had to fan myself a few times while reading.

Summary: A thrilling, seductive new series from New York Times bestselling author Sarah J. Maas, blending Beauty and the Beast with faerie lore.

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she’s been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it… or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

Perfect for fans of Kristin Cashore and George R. R. Martin, this first book in a sexy and action-packed new series is impossible to put down!
