Review: I am so happy that I finally picked this book up off my shelf ( where it has been since March 2015) and re started the book for the beginning. I had no clue what this book is about, or I thought I did at first ( I thought it was about mermaids for some weird reason). But I am crazy over the moon about taking off my shelf and reading it. It was so good, like really crazy GREAT! Jennifer L. Armentrout, why do you do this to me? And How do you even come up with these great plots and characters?! Because I wanna know where I can get some!
I think this book only took me a day to read, I think. I had a friend over while I was in the middle of the book and I had to try and get her out the door as fast as I could to keep reading ( while I was in the moment).
The book was a little hard at first to get into, up quickly took me down and with it into the story. Ivy and Ren were some great characters to read about along with Tink and his sugar addiction. But the plot stole the spotlight with its awesomeness to keep you guessing what was going to happen ( because I had no clue).
I did not have a good part about this book, because the whole book was great. the only problem with Wicked is the cliff hanger ( or more like shocker end) and the no release date in sight for the second book in the series!
5 out of 5 stars.

Summary: Things are about to get Wicked in New Orleans.
Twenty-two year old Ivy Morgan isn’t your average college student. She, and others like her, know humans aren’t the only thing trolling the French Quarter for fun… and for food. Her duty to the Order is her life. After all, four years ago, she lost everything at the hands of the creatures she’d sworn to hunt, tearing her world and her heart apart.
Ren Owens is the last person Ivy expected to enter her rigidly controlled life. He’s six feet and three inches of temptation and swoon-inducing charm. With forest-green eyes and a smile that’s surely left a stream of broken hearts in its wake, he has an uncanny, almost unnatural ability to make her yearn for everything he has to offer. But letting him in is as dangerous as hunting the cold-blooded killers stalking the streets. Losing the boy she loved once before had nearly destroyed her, but the sparking tension that grows between them becomes impossible for Ivy to deny. Deep down, she wants… she needs more than what her duty demands of her, what her past has shaped for her.
But as Ivy grows closer to Ren, she realizes she’s not the only one carrying secrets that could shatter the frail bond between them. There’s something he’s not telling her, and one thing is for certain. She’s no longer sure what is more dangerous to her—the ancient beings threatening to take over the town or the man demanding to lay claim to her heart and her soul.
