Lover Awakened ( Black Dagger Brotherhood #3) by J. R Ward
Review: Ok, so I have been dying to read the story of Zsadist ever since I read about him in the first book of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. He is such an amazing character to read about!
But enough of my gushing all over the place.
I feel like this book set the bar for the rest of the series. Because in Lover awakened, it feels that the plot and the characters get more depth and darker. Especially after what happened to Bella, the things she had to go through and what was done to her were just awful. But that’s the thing about her even though these terrible things happened to her, she was able to get through them and get through to Zsadist. Which was the cutest thing ever. This couple is my favorite so far in this series.
My heart just broke for Zsadist when I found out about his past and why he was the way he was. His brother also had me a little heartbroken too. I mean the love that the two of them share is sweet, even though they don’t like to show it. When Zsadist was kind of going nuts when Bella was gone, and they were not together at all at that point. I really liked how you got to see this completely different side to him. Because yeah I get he’s this big strong man or whatever. But I liked seeming that other side of him that is really quite sweet.
Overall I loved this book so frecking much!
