Review of One More Chance By Abbi Glines

One More Chance (Chance #2)  by Abbi Glines

Review: I thought that Glines did a great job bringing her characters back in One More Chance. I also really liked how she changed Grant and Harlow, but not by much. Because in their first book together in Take a Chance, I did not like Grant at all. He was always moping and all about himself. Another big thing was that the book was not that intense, but Glines makes up for everything in the second book to Harlow’s and Grant’s love story.

It was also able to give us some hints at what’s to come for the rest of the series. Which I will be looking forward too!

NARUTO CountDown! 9 Days Left

Awww only 9 days left…..

The first one is…..

Naruto & Hinata

Yup, and I’m sure you all know why.

1- because Hinata deserves to be with the guy she has stalked for all of the 15 years that Naruto has been out.

2- she has suffered blushing to the extreme

4- and lastly Fainting at most times

The biggest reason that I would love to have these two get together ( other then their children would be the GREATEST/ CUTEST), is that I think they would be able to help each other. ( Hinata would be able to tone Naruto down a bit and Naruto would be able to get Hinata to open up more and speak her mind) .

Also another fun fact of why I love them is when Hinata told Naruto she loved him, made me cry because I never thought she would do it and I was just so proud of her for stating her true feelings! By the way Hinata was the first person in the series that told Naruto that they loved him for him, I mean did you see his face??!! Then when he thought she was hurt, he went all 8, yes that’s right EIGHT TAILS on everyone. Which lead him to finding out and meeting his parents.

Now on to my final ship for the countdown and this next ship is also the first ship I had for the series and the first one I have EVER HAD……

Yeah I know what some or all of you think. But can you really blame me?

Because if they were together, it would be great and their kids would be too!

Not enough for you?

Well I will show you the moment when little me at 12 years old saw Naruto for the first time and it was toward the end of the episode….

well I cant find the picture so here is the link to the episode at 9.20 in the episode is the part I first saw. like EVER.

The artwork was a little different too…

But young me was like ” wow, the guy with blue hair really loves the girl with pink hair.

I know its a little stupid now, but back then it was the best.

I even thought that they were dating after that for a while then I found out nope.

But yeah, this was also the episode that started it all for me….

Also another funny fact is how I had to defend this ship the past 8 years, it kind of felt like fighting a very long battle or like this

yup, so that’s it for today. And tomorrow I will post something else for the countdown, I’m just not to sure what.

If any of you have questions or suggestions let me know in the comments!

Review of Stone cold lover by Christine Warren

Stone Cold Lover (Gargoyles #2)  by Christine Warren

Review: I really enjoyed the second installment of the new Gargoyles series from Warren, a lot more then in the first book. But I’m just being bias because I have everything from Christine Warren. I think she has a great way with words, so I don’t care much of what she writes, because it all sounds good to me!

In this book we get to see new characters and some old ones, which is always a plus! And Warren was able to set up how the next book in the series might go, because she pointed out who will be in it. The plot in this novel was not as interesting as one would hope, but it was still better then the first.

The biggest plus side to reading this series is the lore of the Gargoyles history. Which in my view would be some great books to do, the first Gargoyles warriors, because they get talked about a lot. Also the kick butt women from that time too.

I am much looking forward to the next in the series.

NARUTO CountDown! 10 Days left.

That’s right 10 more days…

So to fit everything I want to do for my countdown I will be adding more then one ship in todays post!

So for the ships for today!

Neji & Tenten

( yeah I know this will never happen now, because Neji died. Which is super sad.)

I’m not totally sure why I shipped them so long ago, but when you think about it. They are kind of made for each other. Who will Tenten be with now!!!!

Ugh. The feels.

The next ship…

Jiraiya & Tsunade

Yes I know he is also dead, but come on we all know they had a thing for each other!

I half believe in the theory that some super fans have about Sakura being their child that they gave up, because well you know…

If you think about it, it makes so much sense. I mean have you seen Sakura’s parent!? She looks nothing, and I mean NOTHING like them!!!! Just think about.

And for the final ship of today…

There might be a theme with my ships today if you had not noticed….

Haku & Zabuza

See how I changed it up here? They are both dead.

But they died together and ( in love) some what.

They are really super cute together, and they were my second ship I have ever made!

Tomorrow will be my two favorite ships in the Naruto series of all time and with them come the stories of why and how….

Review of Chapter 698 of Naruto

For these last two chapters I have decided to review them for old times sake.

So here we go…

Review: I was holding my breath the entire time! I was freaking out like crazy because of how the last chapter had ended, and I had come up with about a thousand different ways this chapter could go. But I’m very. very happy that the chapter did not go in any of the ways I thought.

I think I started crying about two pages into the new chapter, just casus Naruto fought back. I mean, I know I shouldn’t be surprised anymore by him. But WOW. Every time, he still gets me.

The artwork done in this chapter was truly great, I love how in crucial moments Kishimoto, is able to change everything into such fine detail that you can see everything so much clearer. I love all his artwork, but what I saw in this chapter blew me away.

What really got me going in this chapter was how much Sasuke was talking, he never talks this much all at once! He is all about the silence. But that’s just part of his appeal.

What we get to find out from Sasuke and Naruto both in this chapter is how much they mean to each other and to what lengths they will go for one another. It’s nothing romantic, go calm yourselfs, fangirls. Back way. From the screen. There is only one chapter left, so we must all come to reality about our ships and that they most likely will not happen. ( I’m coming to it slowly)

There is one page that came up on my computer screen, That had my crying like crazy. This is because only the top half was showing. It was of Sasuke and Naruto next to each other with their eyes closed. I thought it was the end as I knew it. Thank god, that I scrolled down or I would have never gotten out of my coner ever again!

The last page of the chapter will take your breath away. In more ways then one. Trust me. ( if you know what I’m talking about, please message me! I’m dying to talk to someone about it!)

But because of what Naruto and Sasuke both lost in their finale battle, they will still have to face many more challenges and loss. In a way though, I am happy it was just the thing they lost and not their lives. But I still mourn what they will have to face and might have to give up completely.

Here is the link from the newest chapter of Naruto!

Hey let me know what you guys think of my chapter review and if you would like more of them! Also After you guys read the latest chapter of Naruto, Talk to me about!

NARUTO CountDown! 11 Days left.

My next ship is……

Shikamaru and Temari

Yup, you heard me.

I just think that they are just so perfect together because of how they act.

And come on everyone knows that they are together.

They just don’t want attention or for anyone to be happy for them.

Anyone else you would have them with? Let me know in the comments.

Release Day Launch for ALL BROKE DOWN by Cora Carmack!

ABD RDL Banner

In this second book in New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cora Carmack’s New Adult, Texas-set Rusk University series, which began with ALL LINED UP , a young woman discovers that you can’t only fight for what you believe in . . . sometimes you have to fight for what you love

Dylan fights for lost causes. Probably because she used to be one.

Environmental issues, civil rights, corrupt corporations, and politicians—you name it, she’s probably been involved in a protest. When her latest cause lands her in jail overnight, she meets Silas Moore. He’s in for a different kind of fighting. And though he’s arrogant and infuriating, she can’t help being fascinated with him. Yet another lost cause.

Football and trouble are the only things that have ever come naturally to Silas. And it’s trouble that lands him in a cell next to do-gooder Dylan. He’s met girls like her before—fixers, he calls them, desperate to heal the damage and make him into their ideal boyfriend. But he doesn’t think he’s broken, and he definitely doesn’t need a girlfriend trying to change him. Until, that is, his anger issues and rash decisions threaten the only thing he really cares about, his spot on the Rusk University football team. Dylan might just be the perfect girl to help.

Because Silas Moore needs some fixing after all.

I think I get it then. That decision I saw in her eyes back in the kitchen. That’s what this, what I’m about for her, too. I’m just another part of whatever rebellion she started earlier today. About doing what she wants, not what’s expected of her.

“We’re not talking about me, though,” she says. “So you went to meet your friend, and then what happened?”

She keeps her eyes down as she picks up the gauze and begins winding it snugly around the knuckles of one hand, and then the other.

“He said the wrong thing.”

“Which was?”

“Dylan.” Now it’s her that’s pushing too hard. I didn’t want to talk about things with my friends, and I won’t talk about them with her, either, no matter how gorgeous she is.

“I’ll guess. You were mad about what he did, and he wasn’t sorry.”

“This isn’t middle school, Pickle. He didn’t hurt my feelings. He said some shit he had no business saying, and it pissed me off. The end.”

“But you don’t think some of that anger stems from what you feel is a betrayal of your friendship?”

She finishes taping down the last of the gauze, but doesn’t let go of my hand.

“I think you’re analyzing me again. Making things more complicated than they are.”

“And I think you’re just a guy who doesn’t like to admit he has feelings.” She drags out the word, teasing me with some goofy smile on her face. I turn my hand over so I can clutch her wrist. I curlmy other bandaged hand around her waist and pull her closer.

“I feel plenty of things.”

The teasing stops. She swallows.

“I wasn’t talking about that kind of feeling.”

With her standing and me sitting, I’m eye level with her chest. I see the sharp rise and fall as she sucks in a breath. I want her in my lap again, straddling me this time.

“Doesn’t mean we can’t talk about that kind of feeling. Or experiment with it.”

“Is that Stella girl an ex?”

I cough, surprised. My throat twists uncomfortably, and it takes me a couple of solid breaths to get a hold on myself.

“Ah, no. Stella and I have never dated.”

“Have you—”

“Do you ever run out of questions?”

“Not ever.” She turns playful again, and I’m done doing this the careful way. If she wants a rebellion, I’ll be the one to give it to her. I want her against me, and I’m tired of waiting.

I pull her forward, insinuating my knees between hers, and her body naturally follows, settling across my thighs. Her lips part, but she catches herself before she gasps this time. I keep her steady with my hands at her waist and say, “I’ll make you a deal. A question for a kiss.”

Tentatively, she lays her palms against my shoulders. They rest there, her grip light and casual. She ponders my offer for a moment, and it drives me mad that she can do that while our hips are inches away from alignment.

“Okay then. Are you—”

I cut her off. “Not so fast, Dylan Brenner. I’ve already answered one question. We’ve got to settle up first.”

I wrap her braid around my hand like I’ve been waiting to do all night, and I use it to pull her head back just enough that I can crush my mouth against hers.
