Review: I was so happy to finally get this in the mail! And it was signed!!! Ahh! It was so beautiful, and I still can’t believe its all over now.

Holy alien babies, guys. This book will give you so many feelings that you will not know what to do with. I was in such a state, when reading this book. I don’t think I even knew what day it was when reading this book, I was so engrossed in it. The finale of the book was great with a bit of sadness, but it left no questions. It was so worth it. The characters already have a lot of depth in them, but in this last book Armentrout was able to make them a whole lot deeper. The flipping back and forth between Katy and Daemon was so great, and is able to put a hold on some anger you might have from seeing all of those previews of the book. The fighting scenes were able to be different from most of the past ones and add new elements, along with new allies and new enemies that you don’t see coming. There are also lots of hints at some couples that have happened or might in the future, that will leave you with interest on how their story happened or worked out. But all in all the book was super good for a last one of a series.

I was also very happy with the cover art of the last book too. I’m so happy that they kept the guy who has been on all of the other books for the series.

5 out of 5 stars.

534 pages.

Young Adult. Fantasy. Paranormal. Romance. Science Fiction.

Published by Entangled Teen.

Summary: Katy knows the world changed the night the Luxen came.

She can’t believe Daemon welcomed his race or stood by as his kind threatened to obliterate every last human and hybrid on Earth. But the lines between good and bad have blurred, and love has become an emotion that could destroy her—could destroy them all.

Daemon will do anything to save those he loves, even if it means betrayal.

They must team with an unlikely enemy if there is any chance of surviving the invasion. But when it quickly becomes impossible to tell friend from foe, and the world is crumbling around them, they may lose everything— even what they cherish most—to ensure the survival of their friends…and mankind.

War has come to Earth. And no matter the outcome, the future will never be the same for those left standing.
