Review of Wanted (Most Wanted #1) by J. Kenner

Wanted (Most Wanted #1) by J. Kenner

Review: This book was different from what I’m used to for New Adult, though I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. It’s just surprising. It seems that authors are liking the idea of BAD GUYS for their love interest. And that they also like a darker theme than most readers are used to. This book was more gentle in adding the darker theme, and darker characters.Which is good, because you don’t want to scare away the readers with to much intense scenes. The plot was pretty good, though my main problem was with Angie, because she was being such a pain in the butt. It felt like she understood that she should do what she wants to do and be with who she wants to be with, and that it didn’t matter what her parents felt about or anyone else for that matter. But she still went against her nature and locked herself down. I’m just happy for Even Black because he is the bomb, and was able to unlock Angie and get her to fly. ( you will only understand if you read the book-Hint- FREEDOM)

3 out of 5 stars.

Summary: He is everything I crave, all I desperately want—and he is everything I can’t have.

Evan Black embodies my every fantasy. He is brilliant, fierce, and devastatingly handsome. But he is also headstrong, dangerous, and burdened with secrets.

My family warned me to stay away, that I could never handle Evan’s dark dealings or scarred past. Maybe I should have listened. Maybe I should have run. But our desire is undeniable, and some temptations you just can’t fight.

And from the moment we touch—the passion between us consuming us both—I know that I will never be the same.
