Suddenly Royal (Suddenly #1) by Nichole Chase

Suddenly Royal (Suddenly #1) by Nichole Chase
Review: I was so happy to read this book after reading another book that was somewhat similar, Tess of the D’Urbervilles. Which I have to say can kill anyone’s sense romance or of any happy ending ever happening again. I’m not kidding, this books was really great and fluffy, which many readers need once in a while. But the plot did lack a little, because it was not as complex and you could lose interest at times. though the story was great, because come on who would not want to find out that they are princess or a prince!!?? The characters do grow on you and they show great development in each chapter. the end though does leave many wanting more of Catherine the princess who, it seems falls for a friend of Samantha’s. Which is the next book. and also one I cant wait to read because it looks so good and the plot looks pretty good to maybe even better than in “Suddenly Royal”. There is one last thing I would like to talk about of this book is that there is many things that the cover art of the book shows for later on in the book. Which is fun to find the moment that matches with the expression on Samantha’s face.

Samantha Rousseau is used to getting her hands dirty. Working on a master’s degree in wildlife biology while helping take care of her sick father, she has no time for celebrity gossip, designer clothes, or lazy vacations. So when a duchess from the small country of Lilaria invites her to dinner, Samantha assumes it’s to discuss a donation for the program. The truth will change the course of her life in ways she never dreamed . . .

As crown prince of Lilaria, Alex D’Lynsal has had his share of scandalous headlines, but the latest pictures in the press have sent him packing to America and forced him to swear off women. That is, until he meets Samantha Rousseau. She’s stubborn, feisty, and incredibly sexy. Not to mention heiress to an estate in his country, which makes her everyone’s front-page news. While Sam tries to navigate her new world of politics and wealth, she will also have to dodge her growing feelings for Alex. Giving in to them means more than just falling in love; it would mean accepting the weight of an entire country on her shoulders.
