Jet (Marked Men #2) by Jay Crownover
Review: I am so happy to finally, finally have this book within my grasp. It took me months to get my hands on this book and it has been killing me to read it. It was a huge relief, but the plot was not what I thought it would be. It was not as interesting or as intense as Rule and Shaw’s story, but it was a good filler. I was happy to see some of Shaw and Rule, and how they are moving on in their lives. But the hardest part of the book was Ayden’s hang ups and what her life had to be, and who she had to be with. When the whole thing with Rule and Shaw, she was the one to tell Shaw to go after what her heat told her too and not what she thought she had to be with. Jet though, was a really cool character to learn about and get to know. By the end of the book, you feel like you have a new friend, then quickly realize that he is a piece of fiction…

Summary: With his tight leather pants and a sharp edge that makes him dangerous, Jet Keller is every girl’s rock and roll fantasy. But Ayden Cross is done walking on the wild side with bad boys. She doesn’t want to give in to the heat she sees in Jet’s dark, haunted eyes. She’s afraid of getting burned from the sparks of their spontaneous combustion, even as his touch sets her on fire.

Jet can’t resist the Southern Belle with mile-long legs in cowboy boots who defies his every expectation. Yet the closer he feels to Ayden, the less he seems to know her. While he’s tempted to get under her skin and undo her in every way, he knows firsthand what happens to two people with very different ideas about relationships.

Will the blaze burn into an enduring love. . . or will it consume their dreams and turn them to ashes?
